Recycling

Created by bringing broken plates back together and transforming their surfaces with recycled glass mosaics, this work tells the story of starting over and of transformation.

Here, the broken pieces are not a flaw but traces that form the character of the work. Reused rather than thrown away, the glass sheds its former use and takes on a new meaning. “Anew” symbolizes how even what is broken can become beautiful again, and how each piece — when brought together in the right place — can create a new story.
