Rearing (Şahlanış)

With its rearing horse symbolizing power, freedom and an untamable spirit, this work freezes a moment of movement and nobility in glass. The horse, raising its forelegs into the air, represents courage, resistance and rising up by one's own will.

Thousands of mirror and glass pieces reflect the light across the horse's mane and body, while touches of gold leaf on the deep-blue ground evoke a splendor glittering in the night sky. “Rearing” is a visual expression of the free spirit that fits within no boundary and of the desire to rise that lives within us.
