The Backyard

Depicting the backyard of a quiet home surrounded by flowers, this work is a reflection of peace, belonging and the warmth of home. The colorful flowers represent the vitality of nature, while the bench in the garden represents the small moments in which a person pauses, breathes and sets time aside for themselves.

The meeting of the glass mosaic pieces with the light reflects the garden's changing colors throughout the day and the liveliness of nature. “The Backyard” tells of the dream of a simple life, far from life's bustle, in which a person feels safe and at home.
