Phoenix (Anka)

The phoenix, as a powerful and legendary being reborn from its own ashes, is a symbol of renewal, hope, strength and starting anew. This work tells of rising again after hardship, and of how every ending can turn into a new beginning.

The meeting of the glass mosaic pieces with the light symbolizes the phoenix's fire-born spirit and its rise once more. The merging of the colors with one another, in turn, reflects the beauty of change and transformation. “The Phoenix” reminds us that, however difficult it may be, it is possible to take wing again.
