Alparslan

Depicted on horseback, Alparslan is treated as a figure symbolizing strength, courage and determination. The movement of the horse and Alparslan's bearing reflect the spirit of struggle and a belief in moving forward.

Created with the glass mosaic technique, the work reinterprets a historical figure not merely as a warrior, but through the concepts of leadership, perseverance and freedom. The meeting of the glass pieces with the light represents the vitality and timelessness of a historical heritage reaching from the past to the present.
